I’m very excited to announce that Artistic Connector now has an email newsletter! My primary concern has always been making sure that art has a place in all communities. It is important to me that people feel they have their own art that speaks to their unique experiences. In that vein, I have started compiling Calls for Artists that I’ve found across the state and the country. I hope that local artists will find what they’re looking for there. On a different page, I’ve been marking down local art events so that everyone can come and enjoy art (due to the Coronavirus, this section has been empty, but will be full of fun events soon). The natural next step was to create a newsletter so that information so many people are seeking would come to them automatically.
I know many of you are probably thinking the last thing you need is more email in your inbox. However, for right now, this newsletter will solely be used to promote the Artists and the Local Art sections of the Artistic Connector website. This way, everything you could want to know about upcoming artistic opportunities will come directly to you. Those pages are updated monthly and the newsletter will be monthly as well.
