The Guild of Boston Artists is pleased to present its Annual Members Juried Exhibition from May 1 - 29. Every year, this exhibition is an invitation to the Guild's members to submit their best work in order to compete for prestigious awards.

Extended deadline – POLDRA -OPEN CALL 2021 – Public Sculpture Project Viseu

POLDRA – Public Sculpture Project Viseu promotes site-specific contemporary public art/art in Public Space.
POLDRA seeks works that propose new interpretations of the sites and spaces as well as encourage interaction between the viewer and the sites themselves. Through this dynamic, the works of art aspire to initiate connections that exist beyond the primary act of looking.

Accounting for Artists (FREE Workshop)

This workshop, taught by artist and entrepreneur Anna Koon, is designed for every artist regardless of skill and professional level. Understanding and handling the finances of your creativity can be overwhelming.

18th Solo Art Series – An Opportunity to Shine

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces its 18th “Solo Art Series” Online Art Competition.
This competition will result in an award of 4 monthly solo art exhibitions. In addition, the gallery will award the next 8 juried artists to be featured in the gallery’s Artist Showcase Section.

The New York-based artist embraces traditional and untraditional means of making striking works of art through her investigations of Hispaniola’s histories, as seen in her wall-sized work in the ICA collection currently on view and in the monumental commission opening at the ICA Watershed this summer. 

An Evening with Mapuche Artist Sebastián Calfuqueo

You are invited to join us for an evening with Sebastián Calfuqueo, an Indigenous Mapuche non-binary artist living in Santiago, Chile, whose work grapples with race, class, and gender intersectionality of the Mapuche subject in contemporary society, and is often combined with reflection on the Mapuches’ relationship to land, water and nature.

Re-Composed Classics

A NEW exhibit offering from Wickford Art Association: Re-Composed Classics welcomes member and non-member artists to exhibit works based on classic pieces but re-invented through modifications to media, subject, and more

Painterly

Las Laguna Art Gallery presents Painterly.
This exhibition is open to artists working in Acrylic, Gouache, Oil, or Watercolor.
This is an Open Theme exhibition so any and all subjects are acceptable.

Summer Juried Exhibit

The Juried Exhibits are open to the public as a way to showcase the artistic talent in Whatcom County and the surrounding region. Each season, artists are invited to submit up to five pieces to be judged by a qualified jury made up of artists, curators, and other figures in the arts community.
